Safety
How safe are your bounce houses?

Bounce houses are safe as long as the rules are followed. As with any playground equipment, everyday bumps and bruises are possible. The main rule is parental supervision. Most incidents in this industry occur from unsupervised bouncers.

So grab a chair and watch your children entertain themselves for hours (and then they will sleep all night). We also do our part in reducing the possibility of injuries.

Safety is our number one concern. All of our jump houses are equipped with:

– Secure double stitched safety netting keeping kids in the bounce area
– Safe flame retardant 18 oz heavy duty PVC vinyl
– Safety step at entrance of jump house for safe entry and exit

We are also a member and hold an advanced safety certificate from Safe Inflatable Operators Training Organization (www.sioto.com) and take pride in going the extra mile in ensuring safety. We are also members of several different local and industry organizations are dedicated to the healty growth and well being of our local area and the rental industry  All of our install technicians are properly trained and carry safety checklists, which are completed every time a bounce house is installed.

We also carry insurance and are certified as required by the State of Texas for inflatable rental companies. Ask for a copy if needed.

How clean are your bounce houses?

We are very aware of germs that live and breed in areas that are frequented by children. Therefore we clean and sanitize our jump houses EVERY week.   Our cleaning includes vacuuming and sweeping as well as organic and natural chemical cleaning as well.  We also use this time to inspect the unit for damage and wear.

What do you do if the bounce house deflates during your event?

If the blower stops or the air pressure is low, remove all users immediately, and then check on the problem.  The electrical cord should be plugged into an outlet and be the only thing operating on that electrical circuit.  The blower tube should be tightly tied around the blower hole.  Make sure air is not escaping from the blower tube. Make sure all zippers are closed and not releasing air.  Circuit breakers should also be checked for tripped breakers. If the breaker is tripped remove 1 or more motors from that breaker and onto another breaker.  In the event we come out due to an electrical issue there will be a $50 service charge.

What type of areas are you able set units up on?

Inflatable bounce houses can be set up on grass, cement and pavement but not on rocky areas or areas with sharp objects.  Please make sure all toys, doggie droppings, and any loose items are removed from the set up area.
Note: Delivery and setup personnel cannot go up or down stairs and/or hills etc, set up area must be easily accessible for the delivery truck.

How far in advance should you reserve a fun house?

We are more than willing to rent you a fun house several months in advance or an hour in advance however, the sooner you reserve, the more likely you are to secure the particular fun house you want and get the best price and delivery options available.

How can I reserve a bounce house today?

At Fun Times Party Rental.com we are here waiting for your call.  Our office hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturdays 7am to 12pm.  We deliver 24hours a day and 7 days a week.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, business checks, MasterCard, and Visa, and Discover. Checks require government identification (drivers license) and are subject to a $45 returned check fee for insufficient funds.

What are your policies for inclement weather?

Fun Times Party Rental reserves the right to make any final decisions to cancel a rental due to inclement weather. This would include…. 20+ sustained winds and can include but does not have to include higher gust, 70% or higher chance of rain, and/or temperatures below 40° F. As long as it is not lightning, thundering, heavy rains, or winds do not exceed 20mph we PLAN to deliver and set up our moonwalks. If you choose for us to come payment is due upon delivery, we DO NOT refund any charges. If you choose to cancel the moonwalk rental please let us know before we head to your location. We will be happy to work with you to reschedule your reservation with no cost or penalty, your deposit will be held for your future rental. We will try to work with you the day of your moonwalk rental if threatening weather is present or approaching. Fun Times Party Rental reserves the right to cancel any reservation or portion of a reservation or shut down an event down early due to Inclement Weather, unsafe, unclean, or unfit area for unit, or any other situation that the company deems dangerous or jeopardizes safety in any way or is not in the best interest of the company or users.

What if I do not have power within 100ft?

No power, No problem, we have generators available for rent ask us for details.

What is your cancellation policy?

Easy, give us a call or send us an email. If you need to reschedule your reservation we will work with you to choose another day. We do request that you provide us with:

  • 120 hour (5 day) advance notice for deposit charge only
  • 72 Hour (3 day) advance notice for 50% of rental amount
  • Anything under 72 hours (3 days) the customer will be charged the full rental price

The cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING and sent to: [email protected] If you are canceling with 24hours of your event you MUST CALL the office during regular office hours ALSO.

The sooner we know about the need to reschedule the more flexible we can be. There is no charge if you need to reschedule, the sooner we know the more flexible we can be. Fun Times reserves the right to cancel any reservation or portion of a reservation due to Inclement Weather, unsafe, unclean, or unfit area for unit, or any other situation that the company deems dangerous or jeopardizes safety in any way or is not in the best interest of the company or lessees.
NOTE: Any outsourced services such as Entertainers, Animal Farms, Pony Rides, etc. are subject to full payment on cancellations regardless of when we receive your cancellation.

What is your damage policy?

Customer is responsible for Fun Times equipment at point of delivery. There will be an additional charge of $50 to $100 for dirty units(gum, candy, excessive grass, dirt, etc). Silly string causes permanent damages there is a $1000 charge for silly string damage to unit.

What is your delivery and pick up policies?

All deliveries are generally made between 7am and 1pm. Our intentions are to have the unit at private residences within 2 hours of event. Public events (i.e. Churches, parks, schools, etc) within 30 min of event. Theses are average times and are in place to compensate for possible delays due to things out side of our control. Pick up times for private parties are from 30 min to 4 hours after the event ends. We will confirm pick up times with you at delivery. For public functions items are picked up immediately after event.

Remember:
If your event ends early and is at a public location, please call us immediately so we can try and send our representatives out early. We cannot guarantee someone will be available so you might have to wait until they arrive.
